For: The Analytical Scientist magazine published "The Top 40 Under 40 Power List" that is intended to identify the gifted young scientists making waves in analytical science. The winners are nominated by the readers of the journal and shortlisted by an independent judging panel composed by experts inthe field.

Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting. DSTF Young Researcher partecipated to the meeting
Winner: Dr. Marialaura Marchetti
Date and place: 24th-29th June 2018, Lindau Germany
For: The Lindau Meetings cooperate with more than 200 of the most renowned science and research institutions worldwide to identify the most qualified participants. In the majority of cases, young scientists have to be nominated by these academic partners in order to be able to apply for participation. 
Goal: Once every year, about 30 Nobel Laureates convene in Lindau to meet the next generation of leading scientists: 500-600 undergraduates, PhD students, and post-doc researchers from all over the world. The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings foster the exchange among scientists of different generations, cultures, and disciplines.
